As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, surrounding grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report irregularities or potential policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
