Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at a 25-bed critical access hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to both inpatients and outpatients. This role involves assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapies and exercises.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in Texas.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.
