Manager, Behavior Health (Clinical Supervisor)

Role Description The Manager, Behavior Health (Clinical Supervisor) is a full-time, on-site role located in Issaquah, WA. This position is responsible for overseeing behavioral health services, providing clinical supervision to staff, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practices across programs serving children and youth. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and coaching behavior health practitioners, reviewing and managing clinical cases, and supporting the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis and other behavior support strategies in educational settings. The Manager collaborates with school and district partners, participates in multidisciplinary team meetings, and helps design and refine behavior health protocols aligned with PSESD’s racial equity goals. The role also involves monitoring compliance with relevant regulations, maintaining documentation standards, and contributing to staff training, professional development, and continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Behavioral health and clinical expertise, including Applied Behavior Analysis and Psychology, appropriate for supervising services in educational settings. Leadership and management capabilities, including strong Supervisory Skills for guiding, coaching, and evaluating multidisciplinary staff. Experience in Case Management, including coordinating services, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with families, schools, and community partners. Clinical Supervision skills, including the ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to licensed or license-eligible behavioral health professionals. Relevant licensure or certification in behavioral health or a related field (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, School Psychologist, BCBA) and a master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or a related discipline. Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practices in school-based or child-serving environments. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse students, families, staff, and community stakeholders. Experience in K–12 school systems or educational agencies is highly beneficial, including familiarity with special education, MTSS, and behavior support frameworks. #J-18808-Ljbffr Puget Sound ESD
