Sr Supply Chain AnalystWe offer a competitive salary for this role, with an expected range of $79,500 $100,700/yr. The final offer will depend on your experience, skills, and overall qualifications. Operating under the BIW Business Operating System (BOS), the Sr Supply Chain Analyst ensures compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards while coordinating with other key stakeholders to meet overall milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership:Take personal responsibility for your own safety through hazard identification and mitigation.Ensure practices/processes are safely executed while communicating any safety concerns and modeling safe behaviors.Project Execution:Material Estimates at Complete (EACs) and Material SpendDevelopment of quarterly EACs for each & every ship under contractPrepare & administer all related EVM requirements associated with MaterialMaterial Cost/Spend Forecasting to support the Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual materials spend forecasting processAct as the Point of Contact (POC) for relative reporting, error resolution, process improvements and special assignmentsPrepare & administer relative metrics.All associated deliverables will be on time and error freeThe Analyst will document all processes where documentation does not exist, and ensure the respective procedures are keptTraining and Development:Be a continuous and active learnerWork to enhance current skills and take initiative to prepare yourself for future roles and career growthTeam Collaboration and Communication:Assist and participate in cross departmental communications and information sharing to support organizational alignment.Create strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholdersContinuous Improvement:Monitor and assess material financial performance and initiate corrective action when performance does not meet or beat company obligations or expectationsEvaluate effectiveness of existing methodologies & strategies and make recommendations for improvement as neededResponsibilitiesBS/BA Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredQualifications5-10 years Business/Finance/Estimating related experience - Supply Chain experience preferredSuperior skills with Microsoft products Excel, Access and PowerPoint requiredProven ability to manage complex analysis with minimal direct supervisionProven ability to compile large volumes of data into high level presentationsExcellent verbal and written communications skills requiredExcellent interpersonal skills requiredProven ability to work in a team environment requiredExcellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize daily workloads and multi-task in a fast-paced environment requiredProven ability to evaluate, negotiate and prepare price/cost analysis independently
