Shift: Various shifts available; 8/10/12-hour options

Hours/Week: 36-40 hours

Licenses/Certifications: Kansas RN License (or eligible); BLS required

Experience: Prior surgical or ambulatory care experience preferred; minimum 1 year

Hourly Pay Rate: $31.62+ (based on education and experience)

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced nursing care to pre-operative patients in ambulatory/surgical settings
• Assess patient needs and monitor vital signs before procedures
• Educate patients on procedures and post-op care instructions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions
• Adhere to state regulations and professional standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives and promote a positive patient experience

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Kansas RN license or eligible for licensure
• BLS certification
• 1+ years of surgical or ambulatory nursing experience
• Strong communication and patient management skills

Preferred:

• Experience in a surgical or pre-op environment
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR)
