NDT Quality Inspector

NDT Quality InspectorMeyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire an NDT Quality Inspector in our Tulsa plant on 1st shift. In this role, you will perform UT, MT, VT, and dimensional inspection of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and all requirements. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today's transmission industry standards and specificationsWhat You'll Do:Follow all safety rules and practicesPerform UT, VT, and MT inspections on utility structures throughout the manufacturing processProvide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements.Complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirementsInspect materials or plates, outgoing materials, fittings, and welds throughout the manufacturing processPerform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths, and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipmentComplete inspection records and reports and insert data accordingly and accuratelyParticipate in safety committees and/or other initiativesPerform other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:A minimum of 2 years of experienceUT Shear Wave experience (preferably on T-Joints and on welds with backing bars or other types of structural welds).Experience with AWS D.1.1 standardsThe ability to independently apply and use quality scienceCWI certification preferred, but not requiredThe ability to effectively communicate with customersFamiliarity with appropriate codes and regulationsThe ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendanceA high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goalEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
