Designated Selling Associate - NYC Flagship

Summary The Designated Selling Associate (DSA) is a brand-focused salesperson who builds one-on-one customer relationships and drives sales for a specific jewelry brand at the NYC Flagship. The DSA educates customers and peers on product knowledge and brand trends while using in-store and digital selling tools to meet sales goals. This role requires strong customer service, merchandising, and appointment-based selling skills. Responsibilities Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using tools such as text, social media, and reservations Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through appointment-based and walk-in selling Provide product education, styling advice, and honest feedback to customers to drive purchases Collaborate with DSAs, Stylists, and surrounding departments and lead product knowledge meetings Maintain department presentation through stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns, and merchandise transfers Provide product feedback to management to inform assortment decisions and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow sales Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate customer relationships Ability to work effectively in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced setting Flexible availability to meet business needs and support occasional work in other departments Ability to read and act on sales reporting, and educate customers on brand and product trends Confidence selling across high and low price points and a strong understanding of customers wardrobe and style Physical stamina for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr brobstongroup.com - Jobboard
