We’re partnering with a school district in Washtenaw County, Michigan t to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This role focuses on district-wide support and compensatory services, and the district will consider full-time or part-time candidates. Contracts will be issued once the right candidate is identified. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct speech-language services to students requiring compensatory services, supporting communication needs that impact educational access and success. The SLP will collaborate with district teams, educators, and families to deliver high-quality services and ensure compliance with IEP requirements across school sites. Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible based on candidate availability) Schedule: Monday–Friday; specific days/hours are flexible Service Model: District support and compensatory services School Year: 2025–2026 Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students receiving compensatory services. Conduct assessments and review existing evaluation data to determine service needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and compliance requirements. Collaborate with district administrators, teachers, and special education teams to coordinate services. Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and progress reports. Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to stakeholders. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license through MiPLUS (required). Experience providing school-based speech services preferred.
