Registered Nurse

This position involves floating to various ICU and intermediate care units. The units may include a variety of medical specialties and patient care types. Candidates must be willing to work nights and participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation. Time off requests are limited, particularly during the initial weeks of the assignment. A BLS and ACLS certification is required. Adherence to the float policy is mandatory. The ability to submit with a pending state license is acceptable, as long as the license is secured before the start date. Candidates should possess experience in managing ventilated patients and have knowledge of procedural sedation administration and monitoring. The ratios of patients to staff will vary depending on the shift. Interdisciplinary support services are available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates must be prepared to float within their scope of practice as needed. Verification of qualifications is required upon submission. Additional qualifications may be preferred based on unit needs.
