Job Description
- Support attorneys with commercial real estate transactions from diligence through closing
- Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, development transactions, leasing matters, title, survey, finance, and closing coordination
- Review title commitments, surveys, due diligence materials, closing checklists, entity documents, and transaction-related records
- Prepare and organize closing binders, signature packets, closing deliverables, and post-closing documentation
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and internal team members to keep transactions moving
- Track deadlines, manage transaction files, and help ensure deal documents are complete, accurate, and well organized
Qualifications
- 2+ years of real estate legal experience required
- Commercial real estate transaction experience strongly preferred
- Experience with title, survey, closing coordination, due diligence, leases, purchase and sale agreements, or financing documents preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple active matters
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with attorneys, clients, title companies, lenders, and outside parties
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven legal environment
