What You’ll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work alongside our Physical Therapist to provide engaging, evidence-based care that helps children ages 0–21 build strength, coordination, mobility, and functional skills. Responsibilities include: Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide engaging activities targeting strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, endurance, motor planning, and functional independence. Support children in developing gross motor skills and participating in age-appropriate activities. Educate and encourage families in carrying over therapeutic activities and home programs. Communicate with the supervising PT regarding patient progress, challenges, and changes in performance. Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and other team members to support coordinated care. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Participate in department meetings, professional development, and team collaboration. Qualifications Required Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant License (or eligible) Preferred Passion for pediatric therapy and family-centered care Collaborative mindset and positive attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Make Hope Happen Every Day At Soaring on Hope, every child deserves the opportunity to thrive-and every team member plays an important role in making that happen.
