We're committed to working with you to create a schedule and career path that fits your goals.ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.QualificationsPrevious experience as an automotive technicianASE certification preferredB-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repairBroad knowledge of new vehicle technologiesAmbitious, hardworking presence in a team environmentExcellent customer service skillsBasic computer skillsPositive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentalityEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentAbility to collaborate effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsAble to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalentValid driver's license and clean driving recordAs part of the Dahl Auto team, you will be eligible for all company benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k with automatic 3% company contribution, life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, discounts on vehicles and services, and much more!
