Investor Relations Associate / Senior Associate Private Equity NYC A leading lower middle-market private equity firm are looking for an ambitious Investor Relations Associate / Senior Associate to join their team. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership opportunity for an ambitious IR professional who wants to work closely with senior leadership across LP relations, fundraising execution, investor communications and marketing. Key responsibilities: Owning the quarterly investor reporting process Preparing LP correspondence, annual meeting materials and ad hoc investor communications Supporting active fundraises, including PPMs, DDQs and LP presentations Managing LP and co-investor pipelines, CRM and engagement tracking Supporting LP prospecting and investor research Preparing senior team members for LP meetings and roadshows Building and maintaining relationships with LPs, placement agents and consultants Developing and maintaining investor-facing marketing materials and firm collateral Supporting conferences, speaking engagements and broader IR initiatives Using AI tools to identify and prioritise prospective investors and improve the efficiency of the IR function Experience required: 4+ years' experience in investor relations, fundraising or investor communications within private equity or a placement agent Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished investor materials with minimal editing Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to understand fund performance and portfolio metrics and translate them into compelling investor communications Familiarity with fund mechanics, waterfall structures and LP reporting An interest in and practical experience using AI tools to work smarter and create leverage Bachelor's degree required; finance, economics or a related discipline preferred Why this role?
