As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Mount Vernon, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support visitors and staff with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related policies at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, transit platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted spaces, document observations, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity according to post orders.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directional questions, observing pedestrian and vehicle movement, and completing detailed activity and incident reports before, during, and after each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
