Warehouse Material Handler

2nd Shift Warehouse Material HandlerThis role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. It plays a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring materials, parts, and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSupport all activities related to inbound shipments, including unloading deliveries from trailers to the dock using a hand truck and/or forklift, handling heavy equipment unloads, segregating inbound material into direct and indirect categories, and staging of material within the facility to support all external teams.Support the Production Control team with material moves in support of quality inspection, put-away actions, and material issues to support all production teams.Provide assistance to employees when preparing outbound parcel and freight shipments processed through the appropriate Shipment Request form.Assist the Shipping & Receiving and Production Control teams with clearing out dunnage and removing empty boxes and crates from the inbound dock.Essential SkillsProficient forklift operationExperience with ERP or WMS systemsExperience in automotive or EV industriesStrong inventory control and material handling skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience supporting warehouse and production functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or other related industries.Familiarity with spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets.Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root cause issues, and recommend solutions.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.Proficient in Microsoft Word and other systems for creating work instructions.Strong oral and written English communication skills.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, early-stage stock options, robust retirement savings plans, generous paid time off, and parental leave. The facility specializes in manufacturing medium-duty electric vehicles.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden Grove, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
