Human Resources Assistant

Description We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support our human resources department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a smooth onboarding experience and ensure efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Provide administrative support to the HR Department. Administer end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires, including document collection, system setup, and orientation support Conduct new hire orientation sessions weekly Assist in maintaining employee records Assist with processing weekly payroll, auditing timecards, earnings, deductions, and employee records to ensure payroll accuracy Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets and correspondence Assist employees with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries Review insurance invoices for accuracy, balance, and proper segmentation for accounting purposes Process termination paperwork for departing employees to ensure smooth offboarding Track and manage company store orders to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy Assist with special projects as assigned What We Offer: Competitive pay with opportunities for growth Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) Company-Paid Life Insurance Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in HR administration or related administrative role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) Ability to work with all levels of the organization, including management team Ability to travel up to 15% to company locations.
