Position Overview
Client is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Developmental Disabilities Division with data analysis, reporting, compliance tracking, and decision support initiatives. This role will focus on analyzing financial, utilization, outcome, and program performance data to support Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) requirements, Consent Decree compliance, and operational planning.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with complex datasets, developing recurring reports and dashboards, improving data quality, and presenting analytical insights to business and government stakeholders.
Required / Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience performing data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and identify meaningful insights.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and modifying recurring reports and dashboards.
- Experience working with SQL and analytical data tools.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization and reporting practices.
- Experience with tools such as:
- Power BI
- Power Query
- Excel
- SQL
- Python
- R
- VBA
- Microsoft Access
- DAX
- Experience improving data quality through data cleansing and validation.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business, program, clinical, and administrative stakeholders.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in healthcare, government, human services, Medicaid, or social services environments.
- Experience supporting compliance reporting and regulatory initiatives.
- Experience working with executive leadership and providing decision-support analytics.
- Experience with population-based analytics or program performance reporting.
