Generator Mechanic – Express Employment Professionals (Tulsa, OK)Location: 4316 S Peoria Ave, Tulsa, OK Pay: $24+ per hour, DOE (paid weekly)Position OverviewExpress Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Generator Mechanic to join a Tulsa-based team specializing in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial power generation equipment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on technical work, understands engine systems, and can diagnose issues with precision and confidence.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerator Maintenance — Perform routine service, inspections, and preventative maintenance on diesel and gas-powered generators.Diagnostics & Troubleshooting — Identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.Repairs & Overhauls — Repair or replace components including alternators, voltage regulators, wiring, fuel systems, and engine parts.Load Testing — Conduct load bank testing to ensure proper generator performance and reliability.Documentation — Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and parts usage records accurately.Required Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude with diesel or gas enginesExperience working with power generation equipmentAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manualsStrong understanding of electrical systems and safety proceduresValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environmentsPreferred ExperiencePrior work as a Generator Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or Industrial Maintenance TechFamiliarity with brands such as Cummins, Generac, Kohler, or CATCertifications in EGSA, diesel technology, or electrical systems (not required but a plus)Schedule & CompensationFull-time positionWeekly pay through Express Employment Professionals$24+ per hour, depending on experienceOpportunities for overtime and long-term placementHow to ApplyCandidates can apply in person at: Express Employment Professionals 4316 S Peoria Ave Tulsa, OK 74105.
