\nPosition Overview\n
\n
\nThe Primary Care Physician will coordinate and manage individual patient care at various locations. The Physician will also be required to participate in continuing education as required for licensure and skill maintenance.\n
\n
\nGeneral Responsibilities\n
\n
\n   Completes physical assessment and provides appropriate diagnosis.\n
\n   Manages therapy for patients including outlining care, providing prescriptions, coordinating consultations, and referrals.\n
\n   Performs diagnostic tests, medical procedures, and follows up with critical results using appropriate protocol.\n
\n   Communicates via telephone with patients to discuss patient tests, results, medication refills and other medical questions.\n
\n   Support mid-level providers in a collaboration or supervisory role.\n

\nQualifications\n
\n
\n   Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program is required\n
\n   Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio is required\n
\n   Maintaining license through continuing education, DEA number, and NPI number are required\n
\n   Knowledge of community health needs and modern practices of public health programs\n
\n   Some clinical practice experience preferred, but open to New Graduates as well.\n
\n   Experience in ambulatory care, and able to provide health care in a sensitive, non-judgmental manner to persons of all economic levels and cultural backgrounds required\n
