As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical/petrochemical location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post includes conducting routine patrols, observing and reporting unusual activity, communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols. Prepare accurate incident reports, document patrol observations, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
