Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer 1 to join our manufacturing team. This is the highest-level CNC Programmer position and is ideal for an experienced programmer who enjoys challenging work, complex machining, and solving manufacturing problems.
The role supports both prototype and production machining , including developing new CNC programs for prototype parts as well as maintaining and optimizing programs for ongoing production orders.
The successful candidate will use Mastercam to create and optimize CNC programs for horizontal and vertical machining centers, primarily working with aluminum castings and billet materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Create medium- to high-complexity CNC programs using 3+ axis CAM software, primarily Mastercam .
- Develop new CNC programs for prototype and first-time production parts.
- Modify, optimize, and maintain existing programs for ongoing production work.
- Work offline to create robust programs and simulate machining operations to identify potential collisions and improve cycle times.
- Download programs to CNC controls and support machine setup, prove-outs, and first-piece approvals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CNC programming and machining issues.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturability.
- Recommend improvements to machining processes, tooling, equipment, materials, and part designs.
- Establish tooling, gauging, and machine requirements.
- Create setup instructions and work instructions for machinists.
- Verify CNC programs and changes through simulation before releasing them to production.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of CNC programming experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on CNC programming and machining experience.
- Mastercam experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to program and machine complex geometries.
- Experience with 3+ axis CNC machining.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to spend time both at a workstation and on the manufacturing floor.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment and follow required PPE and safety procedures.
