Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 5×8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Perform hand therapy and splinting as a core component of patient care
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure (client will wait for licensure)
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist — new graduates are not eligible for this position
• Comfort and competency with hand therapy and splinting techniques
• Must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing between 50–80 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior outpatient occupational therapy experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in hand therapy and custom splint fabrication
• Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment with a varied patient caseload
