Job Summary:
The facility located in Hickory, North Carolina, is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team for a contract assignment. The role involves providing specialized critical care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and Carotids. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Position: RN Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH)
• Location: Hickory, North Carolina
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, guaranteed minimum
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Associate Nursing Degree, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of 1.5 years of adult ICU experience with at least 1 year in CVICU after orientation.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification, strong critical thinking skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required in accordance with scheduled rotation
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes 8 beds with patient ratios of 2:1, with occasional 1:1 staffing
  • Equipment includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT devices
  • Electronic Health Record system is Cerner
  • No on-call requirement
  • Location requires candidates to reside at least 60 miles away from the facility for consideration.
