Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: ADN, BLS, current CPI, NVCI or HWC Must-Have: Strong de-escalation skills Description: This position is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting. The role involves working with both geriatric and adult patient populations. The nurse will assist in de-escalating potentially volatile situations. Responsible for patient assessments and formulating care plans. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes is essential. Strong communication skills are required for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. Flexibility to work every other weekend is necessary. Candidate will work in a unit with a patient ratio of 1:10. Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
