Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where you can make a direct impact in the lives of 7th-12th grade students at a dynamic charter school. Located near Glorieta, NM, this position allows you to apply your skills in occupational therapy, focusing on helping young learners thrive in both academic and daily activities.

You’ll deliver approximately six hours of direct therapy per week, with the flexibility to increase hours if student needs indicate. Additional hours for indirect services and administrative tasks are fully supported, and a total commitment of around 10 hours per week is anticipated. Your services will be provided on-site, during school hours between 9am and 3pm, with scheduling flexibility to help you balance your professional and personal life. The assignment starts ASAP and continues through May 28th, allowing you to see tangible results in students’ progress throughout the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid NM Occupational Therapist License or COTA credential
• NMPED licensure required
• Strong background in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Previous home health or healthcare OT experience a plus
• Ability to support students with diverse learning and physical needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group-based OT interventions to students in grades 7 through 12
• Complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to address students’ educational and functional needs
• Collaborate with a virtual OT supervisor if you are a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA)
