Global Planning Operations Escalation Manager

The impact you’ll makeThe Global Planning & Operations Escalation Manager is responsible for leading the structured response to planning and operational excursions, business disruptions, and escalated customer or stakeholder concerns. This role serves as the central point of coordination to rapidly assess impact, align cross-functional recovery plans, restore execution to plan, and protect customer commitments, while driving long-term corrective actions that improve operational stability and resilience.The position partners closely with Global Planning & Operations teams, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, Product Groups, and senior leadership to minimize customer and business impact, maintain delivery commitments, and strengthen organizational readiness for future disruptions.What you’ll doEscalation Ownership & Recovery LeadershipServe as the single point of accountability for critical business and customer excursions, coordinating cross-functional response and recovery efforts to protect customer commitmentsAssess operational impacts, risks, and constraints to prioritize actions, align stakeholders, and accelerate plan recovery.Document business impacts, recovery plans, key decisions, and lessons learned to improve organizational response effectiveness.Provide cross-functional leadership without direct authority.Problem ManagementRapid problem framing (signal > noise): taking fragmented inputs and quickly framing the problem, blocking issue or decision, and business impact.Drive structured root cause analysis (RCA) using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., 8D, PS&DM, Five Whys, Fishbone).Communication & ReportingProvide clear, concise, and executive-ready updates during live escalations and throughout incident resolution cycles.Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track incident trends, performance, and improvement progress.Who we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 15+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in planning, order management, supply chain operations, or similar roles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to rapidly understand complex systems and processes.Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level reporting, stakeholder management, and customer-facing interactions.Our commitmentWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
