About the Role:

Richardson Sports is looking for a hands-on Production Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing and production operations on swing shift. This role helps keep our equipment and facility running safely and efficiently by assisting with machine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks throughout our production floor.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, learning new systems, and growing their maintenance skills in a manufacturing environment.

We’re open to candidates with a variety of mechanical backgrounds, including manufacturing, automotive repair, machine maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction trades, or related hands-on experience. You do not need to know everything on day one — we’re willing to train the right person with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

What you'll do:

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance to help minimize downtime
• Support maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
• Replace and repair basic machine components such as belts, bearings, chains, and motors
• Respond to maintenance requests on the production floor as needed
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and relocations
• Help maintain air compressors and other facility systems
• Support general facility upkeep and improvement projects
• Maintain maintenance logs and complete basic documentation
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and lifts (or willingness to be trained)

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Previous hands-on experience in maintenance, manufacturing, automotive, construction, or related fields preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Comfortable working at heights when needed
