Overview The SEO Specialist is a hands‑on execution role responsible for fully owning local SEO performance for a dedicated book of home services clients. This position is ideal for an SEO professional who thrives on strategy, implementation, and measurable results without the distraction of client calls or sales responsibilities. Reporting directly to the SEO Manager, the SEO Specialist is trusted to independently manage and execute SEO campaigns from end to end. This includes developing and implementing SEO strategies, executing on‑page and technical optimizations, supporting content initiatives, and driving local SEO performance across service‑based businesses such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and related trades. Success in this role is measured by strong organic growth, consistent execution of best practices, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality. This role offers meaningful ownership, close collaboration with SEO leadership, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on real revenue‑driven businesses in the home services industry. Key Responsibilities Own and manage SEO performance for a dedicated book of home services clients Execute on‑page, technical, and local SEO strategies across assigned accounts Implement SEO best practices consistently across all campaigns Monitor performance using Google Search Console and GA4 to identify trends and issues Conduct keyword research and map keywords to service and location pages Optimize service pages and location‑based pages to improve rankings and conversions Manage Local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization and citation accuracy Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as indexing, crawl errors, and site structure problems Collaborate with content teams to provide SEO guidance and optimization recommendations Execute internal linking strategies to support keyword and page performance Track and document SEO changes, implementations, and outcomes Maintain organized records of campaign actions and priorities Stay current on SEO algorithm updates and industry best practices Work closely with account managers (CSM) to align execution with overall strategy Support scalable SEO workflows and process improvements within the agency Qualifications Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on‑page, technical, and off‑page optimization Hands‑on experience using Google Search Console to monitor performance, indexing, and technical issues Working knowledge of GA4 for analyzing organic traffic, user behavior, and conversion trends Experience managing local SEO campaigns, including citation building and NAP consistency Strong understanding of Local SEO principles, including Google Business Profile optimization, proximity, relevance, and prominence factors Ability to conduct keyword research and map keywords to pages based on search intent Experience optimizing service pages and location‑based pages for home services businesses Understanding of internal linking strategies and site architecture for SEO performance Familiarity with content optimization workflows, including content briefs and on‑page SEO recommendations Experience identifying and resolving common technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, indexing issues, and page performance concerns Ability to track, interpret, and act on SEO performance data and trends Experience working with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms Understanding of citation audits, cleanup, and ongoing citation management processes Ability to manage multiple SEO campaigns while maintaining organization and attention to detail Strong documentation and process adherence skills within an agency environment Working knowledge of AI and prompt modifications Bonus Qualifications Strong experience and understanding working within HubSpot Experience working with home services clients Benefits Continuous training and professional development Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, supplement insurance plans, and a 401(k) with company match Hybrid schedule with weekly work‑from‑home opportunities on Wednesdays Fully stocked beverage fridge and snack bar to keep you fueled throughout the day Monthly team outings to connect, unwind, and have fun together On‑site gym for convenient workouts before work, during lunch, and after Covered parking so your car stays cool even in the Texas heat #J-18808-Ljbffr Lokal Media House
