Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and preventative care procedures. Educate patients about the importance of oral hygiene and proper brushing/flossing techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required by patient care protocols. Assist in the assessment of patient's gum health and provide appropriate recommendations. Document patient treatments and care in electronic health records accurately and timely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and sterilization areas. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Qualifications Current and valid dental hygienist license in the state of Ohio. Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient care practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
