Our orthopaedic clinic at Maywood is looking for either a PCT or CMA who is a great team player, patient‑centered, and loves working with orthopaedic patients. 5 8‑hour shifts per week, with occasional travel to Burr Ridge. Work today/Get paid today Colleague well‑being resources Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities The Certified Medical Assistant utilizes a defined skill set consistent with the basic educational program, certification, and relevant work experience to deliver direct care to the patient in the ambulatory setting. Working under the direct supervision/licensure of the physician, the Medical Assistant is an integral member of the health care team and is responsible for coordinating the pre‑/intra‑/post‑aspects of the medical visit. This includes direct care, registration & scheduling, physician‑patient communication and other office‑related tasks. Additionally, the CMA will administer medication and work directly with other health care professionals at the site as well as ancillary department and services to coordinate care. Qualifications High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education 1‑2 years of previous job‑related experience (New grad CMA’s welcome!) Must possess at least one (1) Medical Assistant credential within six (6) months of hire: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association – upon hire CMA Compensation Pay Range: $18.16 - $28.14 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
