Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Cardiology

As a Locum NP/PA in Cardiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions, collaborating closely with our cardiology team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations in cardiology
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Provide patient education on cardiovascular health
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely
• Participate in patient care rounds and case discussions

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice
• Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
• Experience in cardiology or related medical specialty preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• No call requirement
• Daily Volume: 15 patients
• Caseload: General and interventional cardiology, and structural heart
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
