Nurse Practitioner

A pain management practice expanding across Sacramento-area skilled nursing facilities is hiring NPs and PAs for geriatric pain and palliative care roles. Round on the same residents weekly, build real treatment relationships, and earn $60–$100/hour plus a productivity bonus with consistent full-time hours. New graduates welcome; formal onboarding provided. Malpractice with tail coverage included. New seats added as new facilities come on board. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pain assessments and physical exams Develop evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic pain Prescribe and manage pain medications per state and federal regulations Coordinate with physical therapy, acupuncture, and interventional services Educate patients and families on pain management and lifestyle strategies Monitor outcomes through follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans Document accurately in TEBRA and PointClickCare Build strong relationships with SNF leadership and staff Qualifications Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C certification Fully onsite; able to travel between Sacramento area facilities New graduates welcome; 5+ years relevant RN experience also counts Background in geriatrics, skilled nursing, palliative care, or pain management preferred TEBRA or PointClickCare experience a plus Schedule & Compensation $60–$100/hour + productivity bonus | ~$115,200–$192,000/year Full-time | ~32 hours/week | Schedule varies by facility Onsite at Sacramento area skilled nursing facilities Malpractice with tail coverage included Formal onboarding program Note: Licensure costs are the candidate's responsibility; no sign-on or relocation #J-18808-Ljbffr
