Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, identifying their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and taping methods.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical assessments to ensure optimal recovery and mobility restoration.
• Document patient encounters meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system, including treatment provided and changes in patient status.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic strategies and exercises to enhance self-management strategies beyond clinical settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans focused on patient-centered outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices by participating in workshops, reviewing professional journals, and engaging with local professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on adults with orthopedic conditions, including postoperative recovery, sports injuries, and rehabilitation for chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals in various stages of recovery, using your clinical skills to empower them to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using EHR systems for efficient patient documentation.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation protocols, including post-operative orthopedic recovery.
• Experience in mentoring or supervising new graduates or interns is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
