Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years in Pain Management or Interventional Radiology; ICU experience preferred License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in Pain Management and Interventional Radiology - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Description: Position involves providing nursing care in a Pain Management and Interventional Radiology setting. Shifts are scheduled for five days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call rotation is assigned on a weekly basis Monday through Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Weekend and holiday availability required for 24-hour on-call service. Occasional weekend day shifts are needed, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Staffing generally requires availability for every other weekend, with a maximum of two weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to five days, with no more than two consecutive days. No time off during holidays or on the day before or after a holiday. Mandatory floating within the department may be required to meet staffing needs. All nursing staff are expected to wear lead when necessary. Experience with charting system required, specifically Cerner. Two professional references from recent employers are mandatory before starting. Individual must demonstrate competencies related to interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty and carotid stenting. Compliance with all infection control and safety protocols is expected.
