Quality InspectorShiftsDay Shift- 5:45am-4:15pmNight Shift- 7:45pm-6:15amSupervisory Responsibilities: NonePurpose: To inspect work-in-process and final products to ensure conformance to product requirements, conformance with procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.Duties/ResponsibilitiesEnsure a safe work environment for self and others. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.Perform inspections per inspection reportsMay conduct audits of finished goods material per inspection reportsMay perform sort and rework functions as directedProficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, go/no go gauges, and other mechanical inspection equipmentAccurately complete reports and all necessary paper work for the jobsAbility to regularly meet or exceed efficiency requirementsActively participates in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and proceduresSupport and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvementCommunicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional mannerWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.RequirementsMinimum Requirements: Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredManufacturing experience in die casting desired but not requiredJob Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to follow work instructionsMust be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformitiesRegular attendancePhysical DemandsAbility to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting up to 40 lbs.Ability to stand up to 100% of shiftAbility to do repetitive movements (i.e. bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs)
