Job Title: Sr Account ManagerClassification: ExemptDepartment: Property & CasualtyLocation: Torrance, CA / Hybrid/FlexibleReports to: Vice President, Property and Casualty Practice Leader SummaryThe Sr Account Manager is responsible for the service, retention, and strategic management of a book of commercial Property & Casualty business comprised of mid-sized to large accounts. This role leads client relationship management, renewal strategy, marketing/RFP execution, carrier and vendor coordination, coverage analysis, and service plan oversight. The Sr Account Manager also supports Account Executives and department leadership to deliver sophisticated account management on larger, more complex accounts. This role also provides guidance and mentoring to junior service team members. Essential Duties & Functions Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for client service activities as directed by client tier (A, B or C).Manages an assigned book of mid-sized to large commercial P&C accounts with responsibility for client satisfaction, retention, and overall service strategy.Leads relationship management activities for key client contacts and serves as a primary day-to-day advisor on service and coverage matters.Coordinates to develop and execute renewal strategy, including exposure review, timeline management, marketing direction, and presentation planning.Under the direction of the Account Lead, manages the marketing and RFP process by coordinating submissions, negotiating with carriers and wholesalers, evaluating quotes, and developing coverage and pricing recommendations.Analyzes client operations, exposures, and existing program structure to recommend coverage enhancements, program changes, and risk management solutions.Provides expert-level technical support to Account Executives on large, complex accounts and helps delegate relevant tasks to Assistant Account Managers or CSRs as appropriate.Under the direction of the Account Lead, prepares or reviews renewal proposals, coverage comparisons, summaries of insurance, schedules, and other client-facing deliverables.As directed by the Account Lead, leads client meetings, stewardship discussions, and presentations independently or in partnership with producers and senior leadership.
