Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.DutiesConduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose health issues.Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity through health coaching and lifestyle modifications.Provide acute care for minor injuries and illnesses in an outpatient setting.Perform necessary procedures including suturing, IV infusion, and basic life support.Ensure accurate documentation of medical records using EHR systems and EMR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Participate in clinical research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.Educate patients on preventive care measures, immunizations, and health maintenance strategies.MD or DO licensed in Alabama, or eligible for AL licensureBoard certified and in good standingCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsNon-excluded from Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programsPreferred:Urgent care or emergency medicine experienceDOT Medical Examiner certification already active #J-18808-Ljbffr
