Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests. Develops capture strategy including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities. Has responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit. Maintains ongoing interaction with program LOB.Key Responsibilities- Lead sustainment capture efforts across the European region to secure new contracts, recompete opportunities, and task order business.- Develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies that balance customer value, competitive positioning, and corporate business objectives.- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including potential customers and market expansion areas.- Conduct competitive assessments and market analysis to inform win strategies and positioning.- Develop pricing strategies and price-to-win models to support competitive proposals.- Identify, evaluate, and manage teaming partners and suppliers to strengthen capture solutions.- Lead and integrate cross-functional capture teams, providing direction and oversight throughout the pursuit lifecycle.- Coordinate and participate in bid and proposal development activities, including reviews and milestone deliverables.- Maintain close collaboration and ongoing engagement with program Lines of Business (LOBs) to ensure alignment between capture efforts and program capabilities.- Drive execution of capture plans to maximize win probability and ensure compliant, executable offerings.What’s In It For YouFrom onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security, Learn more about Lockheed Martin’s comprehensive benefits package here.Who You AreYou are a seasoned capture and business development professional with a strong track record of leading complex sustainment pursuits and winning competitive opportunities. You bring expertise in capture strategy, proposal execution, and cross-functional leadership, along with a solid understanding of the European defense and sustainment landscape. Analytical and strategic by nature, you excel at evaluating market conditions, competitive dynamics, and price-to-win strategies while building strong customer and partner relationships.
