The David S. and Janet R. Sheridan Emergency Care Center at Glens Falls Hospital is one of the busiest in Northeastern New York. Available 24-hours a day and seven days a week, the center provides care to more than 50,000 patients annually through a comprehensive and coordinated approach that allows delivery of care in an efficient manner.

Local travelers (residing within 50 miles of facility) must be uploaded at a 10% discount of posted rate/hour.

Traveler must be willing to work Thanksgiving (including Friday and weekend after) AND Christmas-New Year Day Block, (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Thanks!

• 2+ years of minimum ED experience
• Recent travel experience in an ED setting - Required
• Experience with procedural sedation, rapid-sequence intubation (RSI), IV starts on children, and ABG draws
• Cerner experience - HIGHLY Preferred

• COVID vaccinations strongly encouraged, but NOT required

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• New York

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : NY license must be active at time of submission --- turnaround time for issuance is 30 days minimum : /
Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
