Director of Sales and Marketing

A well-established senior living community in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Director of Sales to lead sales efforts and support continued occupancy growth.

This community has a long-standing reputation in the market, a history of strong occupancy, and an attractive campus offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The Director of Sales will serve as a key face of the community, developing meaningful relationships with prospective residents and families while proactively managing the sales pipeline.

*This is a base + commission role*

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with prospective residents, families, referral partners, and the local community.
• Lead prospects through a thoughtful, discovery-based sales process focused on understanding their individual needs and motivations.
• Proactively manage the sales pipeline and anticipate upcoming availability to support strong occupancy.
• Conduct tours and follow up consistently with prospective residents and families.
• Maintain accurate prospect and sales activity within the community's CRM.
• Partner closely with community leadership to support move-ins and overall occupancy goals.
• Develop relationships and visibility throughout the Sioux Falls market.
• Bring energy, creativity, and an entrepreneurial approach to generating new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior living sales experience is strongly preferred.
• A naturally engaging personality with the ability to quickly establish trust and build meaningful relationships.
• Strong emotional intelligence and an understanding of the personal and emotional nature of senior living decisions.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and consistently following through with prospects.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for serving older adults and their families.
