Radiation Therapist - Travel Job

What You'll Need:


• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program


• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy


• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required


• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist


• Experience working in an outpatient radiation oncology setting (client-specific requirement)


• Familiarity with linear accelerator operation and verification workflows, including patient setup and immobilization (client-specific requirement)


• Experience with treatment planning verification and dose documentation (client-specific requirement)


Preferred:


• Experience with EPIC or other oncology electronic medical record systems (preferred)


• Prior travel or contract experience in radiation oncology (preferred)

• Facility type: Outpatient
• Shift: Days
• Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00
• Work week: Monday through Friday
• Schedule details: 36-40 hours per week. No call. No holidays.

Additional Duties:


• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.


• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.


• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team.


• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.


• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.
