The echo technologist is an individual who performs cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician with minimal supervision from the imaging management team.

Ideal candidate: has all the required license and certificates and has experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist for at least a year.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school of medical-cardiac ultrasound or equivalent training
• Upon hire: national registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
• Upon hire: national certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: national provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year experience hospital-based radiologic technologist
