RESPONSIBILITIES Perform Special Inspections Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and relevant codes. Perform inspections per industry standards and project requirements. Document inspection findings accurately and comprehensively. Identify and report any discrepancies or non-compliance issues. Conduct soil, concrete, and asphalt testing during downtime between special inspection projects. Perform laboratory testing as required (if experienced). Ensure proper sampling and handling of materials for testing. Compliance and Documentation Ensure compliance with all applicable specifications and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all inspection and testing activities. Prepare and submit timely inspection and testing reports. Maintain records of all certifications. Site Safety Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on job sites. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel. REQUIREMENTS Laboratory testing experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in diverse field conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications. Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently.
