WM Supercenter #2104 1201 Route 300, Newburgh, NY 12550-5005 Position Summary Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Model and enforce customer member service approaches and techniques to resolve complaints within company guidelines. Participate in community outreach programs. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies and procedures. Implement asset protection, safety controls, and operational and quality assurance reviews. Develop action plans to improve performance and support strategic initiatives. Supervise, mentor, hire, train, and assign duties to Associates. Provide quality eyewear by consulting with members, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining equipment, and performing minor repairs. Uphold the Open Door Policy by listening to concerns and resolving issues. Oversee job‑related activities and assignments by building relationships with stakeholders. Build accountability, measure progress, identify improvement opportunities, foster continuous learning, and promote a sense of belonging. Maintain integrity and adherence to Walmart values. Deliver results while putting the customer first, using data‑driven insights and balancing short and long‑term priorities. Apply continuous improvement and new technologies to achieve excellence. The hourly wage range for this position is $38.50 – $50.00, with the actual hourly rate equal to or exceeding the required minimum wage. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments may apply based on location. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
