A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, IV Pharmacy Technician in Leesport, PA!

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Leesport, PA. This position works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and supports prescription filling, medication preparation, billing, inventory management, and pharmacy operations.

IV Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $24.45/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

IV Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm

IV Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription and billing information into the computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with the final prescription-checking process.
• State medications for Registered Pharmacist final review when required.
• Package medications following Pharmacist review and approval.
• Help coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
• Receive incoming medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Rotate inventory appropriately and record lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory and maintain accurate medication stock.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment.
• Check pharmacy equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
• Follow all pharmacy procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Work closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Management, Billing, and Technician Supervisors to support daily pharmacy operations.

IV Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• Experience working in a pharmacy, medication fulfillment, prescription processing, or similar healthcare environment is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Comfortable entering information into computer systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Must be able to work the full Monday–Friday schedule.
• Must be comfortable with a contingent start.
