Project Manager – Digital Messaging Operations

The Project Manager plays a vital role in executing and delivering customer-facing digital communications. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will collaborate with content editors, designers, line-of-business (LOB) marketers, and engineers to build, test, and launch emails, SMS, and push notifications.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of messaging campaigns:

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for messaging initiatives. Partner closely with copywriters, designers, and LOB stakeholders to develop multi-channel alerts and guide creative assets through the approval pipeline.

• Production & Quality Assurance: Manage and track all production components, including technical setups, comprehensive QA testing, documentation management, and post-launch monitoring.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate with partners across the organization to expedite bottlenecks and secure the necessary approvals to bring messages to market.

• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain strict adherence to Legal, Risk, Compliance, and internal process controls to ensure the program remains perpetually audit-ready.

• Transparent Communication: Provide concise, daily status updates to stakeholders, ensuring absolute clarity on project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications & Core Competencies

We are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented leader who meets the following criteria:

• MarTech Expertise: Background in marketing technology with a solid understanding of email, SMS, and push notification platforms. (Exceptional project management or delivery experience in non-technical fields will also be considered).

• Autonomous Project Delivery: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and meet strict deadlines.

• Technical Literacy: Experience collaborating with Data Analysts and Tech Teams who utilize APIs and operate within parallel Agile/Sprint frameworks.

• Risk & Problem Management: Proactively identify and communicate project risks or delays. Demonstrate strong analytical skills to solve issues, with a clear understanding of when to escalate challenges to leadership.

• Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging effectively for both team members and executive leadership.
