Purchasing Manager

Gulfstream Staffing has recently partnered with a rapidly growing dermatology organization. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Purchasing Manager opportunity in Orlando, FL. The Medical Assistant will assist the provider in the delivery of quality care to patients related to the performance of surgical procedures.

The Purchasing Manager oversees all procurement activities for a multi-state dermatology network with ~150 practices. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for medical supplies, equipment, office products, and service vendors.

Position : Purchasing Manager

Purchasing Manager Duties:

• Develop and implement a centralized purchasing strategy to support ~150 dermatology practices across 14 states.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers for medical, clinical, and administrative products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring consistent product quality, availability, and service.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through bulk purchasing, vendor consolidation, and process optimization.
• Ensure all purchased items comply with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, FDA, etc.) and organizational quality standards.

Purchasing Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-site operations.
• Experience managing contracts for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or clinical supplies strongly preferred.
• Prior experience implementing or improving purchasing systems (e.g., ERP, procurement software).
