Claim Attorney

Job Summary Minnesota Lawyers Mutual (MLM) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Attorney to join our team. As part of the dynamic and customer service-oriented Claims Team, an MLM Claim Attorney handles Lawyers Professional Liability claims of moderate to high complexity. The ideal candidate will have experience investigating and analyzing professional liability claims, reviewing and evaluating legal exposure, managing outside counsel and driving case resolutions. The Claim Attorney should have experience analyzing insurance coverage, determining liability exposure and making appropriate reserve recommendations. The Claim Attorney will ensure that claims are handled within company policies and procedures within the individual’s designated authority.
