Senior Hardware Engineer

This is a hybrid role based out of Cranberry. There is no relocation assistance offered for this role.Key Responsibilities:Lead the hardware scope for instrumentation and control plant computer and annunciator system upgrade projectsCabinet/panel designCable & wiring designField I/O designLead a team of engineers to support the entire lifecycle of a project: design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, shipment, plant start-upWork closely with internal and external customers to define system requirements and ensure conformity to applicable codes and standardsInterface with suppliers to manage obsolescence issues and ensure product viabilityWork with business units to develop offers for new projectsLead resolution of significant technical issues and travel to customer sites as neededLead product and process improvement projectsMentor and train new engineersCollaborate internally across multiple organizations (business units, supply chain, engineering, etc).Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field.Minimum of 3 years of experienceExperience in the nuclear industry preferredExperience with leading a team of engineersKnowledge of I&C hardware design and equipment qualification processEffective communication, organization, and delegation skillsStrong technical writing abilityProficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
