La mano de obra general es responsable de manejar con seguridad los productos de madera. Verifica que el material cumpla con los requisitos del cliente y las expectativas de la empresa. Responsabilidades Mueve y asegura productos de madera y otros materiales de acuerdo con las instrucciones. Apila productos terminados según tamaños de paquete predeterminados y/o requisitos del cliente. Etiqueta el material según las siguientes especificaciones: tipo, tamaño y número. Aplica etiquetas individuales al material antes/después del tratamiento/producción. Utiliza una pistola de grapas y soluciona problemas del equipo. Asegura el material, incluida la fijación de protectores de esquinas y palos de carga. Sigue las instrucciones para apilar el material correctamente y de acuerdo con la política de la empresa y los requisitos del cliente. Asegura que las cantidades y el material correctos estén flejados y etiquetados antes de abandonar el área de trabajo. Mantiene un inventario preciso de etiquetas e informa cualquier problema o discrepancia al supervisor. Mantiene un área de trabajo limpia y organizada. Ayuda con otras áreas de trabajo moviendo material, cargando y descargando carros de material. Realiza otras tareas según sea necesario. Requisitos Diploma de escuela secundaria/GED preferido pero no requerido. No se requiere experiencia, pero se prefiere experiencia en fabricación o madera. Conocimiento práctico de matemáticas básicas. Debe tener al menos 18 años de edad. Habilidades Capacidad para trabajar de manera segura. Capacidad para reconocer el tamaño/grado/calidad del material. Capacidad para leer correctamente una cinta métrica y un medidor de humedad. Habilidad para entender matemáticas básicas y números. Demuestra capacidad para seguir instrucciones específicas. Demostrar capacidad para usar y operar herramientas manuales y otros equipos según sea necesario. Demostrar capacidad para montar material correctamente. Capacidad para identificar problemas de seguridad en su área de trabajo y detectar fallas en el equipo. Capacidad para comprender instrucciones verbales y escritas básicas en inglés. Capacidad para trabajar bajo supervisión inmediata. Capacidad para pasar una prueba de drogas La posición requerirá doblarse, agacharse, arrodillarse, agacharse, gatear, levantar/cargar más de 25 libras, empujar/jalar, girar, pararse y caminar.
